Shabbat Shalom everyone! My name is Peter, it’s the 28th day of the 9th month, year 5782; or December 4th, 2021 in the Gregorian calendar and thanks for listening to the Our Heavenly Father podcast.
This podcast has been created to bring the light of the truth; a truth which clearly and logically leads to following and obeying our Father in Heaven — who truly has our best interests at heart in all that He commands us. The world, in contrast, wants to destroy all of our God-given rights and freedoms; free-will, individuality and purpose. The world despises Godly truth and wisdom; a truth which leads one to be a peace-loving, unique and free-thinking individual, all created in the image of our Heavenly Father.
I will not share much about myself on this podcast, other than my first name, which is Peter, because this is not about me — this is about our Heavenly Father. I am not a Prophet; not a Priest; not a Rabbi. I am not someone to be followed — only God is our Shepherd. My hope is that you become truth seekers in all things, and do not become a follower of anyone but God and God’s teachings.
On this podcast one will not find advertisers, or requests for donations — with teaching for profit, there must logically follow, motivations to keep a steady flow of funds; to hold onto those advertisers; to satisfy listeners in order to collect more donations — and, although these motivations can be good at first, they can never remain so. The advertisers must be kept happy; so, the truth must be watered down, in order to not offend them; truth needs to be flowered with beautiful and inspiring words to uplift listeners in order to retain followers, and collect more donations.
My sincerest hope through this podcast, is that people would be released from the bondage of a world of control (which offers only an illusion of freedom) in order to wholeheartedly seek a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father, a relationship through which one can truly be free.
Although we will be tackling some difficult theological issues — like our upcoming podcast on the problem of evil — we will be discussing them from a simple, logical, biblical perspective. My goal is to not cloud important issues in big words and double-speak; but, rather, provide clear, concise, and easy to understand information from a Hebraic and historical perspective.
